5 Great Diversity Speakers on the Platform

In the wake of one of the most tumultuous and challenging years in recent history, our nation has reckoned with racial violence amidst a global pandemic. Now. more than ever, we need powerful leaders and diverse voices to help us navigate these difficult times.

We are thrilled to have a group of amazing and inspirational diversity speakers on the platform who have dedicated their lives to fighting for social justice and making diverse voices heard.

See below for a list of some of the amazing diversity speakers we have on the platform. 


Martin Luther King III

Martin Luther King III is the oldest son of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Mrs. Coretta Scott King, Martin Luther King III serves as an ambassador of his parent’s legacy of nonviolent social change. 

Mr. King has devoted his life to working in the non-profit sector to promote civil rights and global human rights and to eradicate the “triple evils” of racism, militarism and poverty that his father identified as the scourges of humankind.

A former President and CEO of the Atlanta-based King Center, Mr. King remains a member of its Board of Directors. In addition, he serves as a board member of: Southern Christian Leadership Conference, Drum Major Institute, a New York based Think-Tank and the Metropolitan West Management Asset Corporation.

Ryan Harris

Ryan Harris is a 10 year veteran of the NFL. In 2015, he became a Super Bowl Champion after winning Super Bowl 50 with the Denver Broncos. He has also played for the Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers before retiring in 2016. He graduated from Notre Dame with two degrees, one in Economics and Policy and the other in Political Science.

Today you can catch Ryan on 'The Fantasy Football Hour', CBS, Altitude TV, and listen to Ryan on the Notre Dame Radio Network as the Color Analyst for Notre Dame football. You can also hear Ryan on Altitude Radio’s ‘Hastings, Harris and Dover’ available on iTunes podcasts. He also speaks across the nation about Leadership, Team Dynamics, Financial Literacy, and Mindset.

Maria Taylor

Maria Taylor is an ESPN commentator who covers all things football and basketball at the professional and collegiate levels from both the sideline and the studio. Taylor was named a reporter for College GameDay Built by Home Depot and ABC Saturday Night Football in 2017 and added NBA Countdown hosting duties in 2019. She had previously served as the host of SEC Network’s traveling pregame show SEC Nation, alongside analysts Tim Tebow, Marcus Spears and Paul Finebaum.

Taylor’s versatility is showcased on a variety of ESPN’s shows, as she hosts College Football Live, Big Monday and NCAA Women’s Final Four studio coverage, serves as a regular co-host on Get Up, and works as a sideline reporter on Saturday Primetime and marquee men’s basketball games throughout the season. Taylor is truly a jack-of-all-trades and is a trailblazer in the world of sports reporting.

Jessica Mendoza

Jessica Mendoza is a baseball broadcaster for ESPN and former professional softball player. At Stanford University, Mendoza was a four-time First Team All-American outfielder for the Stanford Cardinal from 1999 to 2002, as well as a member of the United States women's national softball team from 2004 to 2010. She won a gold medal at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, and a silver medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. She played professionally in National Pro Fastpitch. Mendoza owns numerous Cardinal records. She is currently a member of the broadcast team for ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball and made history by being the first female analyst to broadcast an MLB playoff game. In early 2019, Mendoza joined the New York Mets in a baseball operations advisory role and will continue her broadcasting duties.

Lisa Bloom

Lisa Bloom founded and owns one of the largest civil rights law firms in the US, The Bloom Firm, with offices located in LA and NY. Known for representing celebrity clients like Janice Dickinson, Blac Chyna, and Mischa Barton, Lisa fights for ordinary people seeking justice, especially victims of sexual harassment, domestic violence, LGBTQ discrimination, racial bias, sexual assault, and excessive police force. Lisa and her team has won many verdicts and settlements against high profile people accused of misconduct, including sex offender Bill Cosby and serial sexual harasser Bill O’Reilly as well as many multi-million dollar victories against companies and public entities like the LAPD that failed to respect workers' or citizens' rights.

A graduate of Yale Law and former national college debate champion, Lisa is frequently interviewed about her cases on television, radio, websites, podcasts and print all over the world.

Lisa truly is an example of standing up for diverse voices and she is a powerful female leader in the law world.
