Eric “The Trainer” Fleishman, Serena Poon, and Matt Doherty Sign On as New Talent on Engage

Eric “The Trainer” Fleishman’s drive to be the best personal trainer on the planet is unmatched, and his workout methods are being utilized by Hollywood’s top celebrities and UFC fighters both in front of and behind the camera. He has appeared in major magazines and television programs and has been an instrumental part of some of the highest profile fitness stories of the past decade including Big Time Rush, Ethan Suplee, Kirstie Alley, Michelle Branch, and Rachel Crow. In addition to training, Fleishman has a brisk fitness consulting business and is a frequent contributor to “Muscle and Fitness” magazine where he sits on their advisory board. Serena Poon, Celebrity Chef, Nutritionist, Reiki Master, and Speaker, has made it her mission to educate her listeners around the mindful combination of food, nutrition and healing intuition in what she has coined, “Culinary Alchemy™.” A leading Chef to the Hollywood elite, such as Jerry Bruckheimer, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, and Kerry Washington, Serena holds a genuine passion for curating intentional healing and wellness programs designed for optimal, sustainable health. Matt Doherty is a former basketball player and coach at the University of North Carolina. Matt played his collegiate basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels (1980-1984) where he won the 1982 NCAA Championship, was a three-year starter and second person in ACC history to accomplish 1,000 points, 400 rebounds, and 400 assists. Matt went onto become a Division I coach, at Notre Dame (1999-2000), UNC (2000-2003), Florida Atlantic University (2005-2006), and finally SMU (2006-2012). As a coach, he won the ACC Championship in 2001 with the Tar Heels and was named AP National Coach of the Year that same season. Doherty went onto to work in the front office for the Indiana Pacers of the NBA, before finishing his basketball career as the Associate Commissioner of the Atlantic 10 Conference (2017-2019). Matt is now an active speaker, traveling the country speaking to businesses and organizations, detailing his experiences as a player, coach and executive.
