Jake Olson, President & Co-Founder of Engage and former blind long snapper for the USC Trojans, was interviewed by KTLA’s Frank Buckley for a News segment that premiered on December 19, 2018.
KTLA news anchor Frank Buckley unwraps Jake’s experience at USC, tracing his involvement with the USC Trojans from shadowing Pete Carroll at age 12 to snapping on the field for the first time against Western Michigan his Junior year.
The video also highlights Jake’s life after long snapping, including his golfing aspirations and co-founding a new company, Engage.
In conversation with Buckley, Jake Olson says, “I’m excited to grow our new company, Engage. It is a platform that allows consumers to connect with talent not only through speaking engagements but through experiences, which we find is something a lot of people want these days.”
The process of booking talent currently includes paper contracts, faxes, mailing checks for payments, and various other outdated methodologies. Jake and his roommate-turned-manager Daniel Hennes co-founded Engage to replace the old system with digital contracts, live chat communication within the platform, email notifications, credit card or ACH payment, and much more.
