Jake Olson, President & Co-Founder of Engage and former USC Blind Long-Snapper, was recently featured in an interview on IdeaMensch, a popular interview platform for rising Entrepreneurs.
The interview focuses on Jake’s journey as a co-founder of Engage, a new startup that digitizes the booking process and connects people with one-of-a-kind popups and experiences with pro athletes, entrepreneurs, business leaders, politicians, and more.
When asked about the initial idea, Jake says, “The idea for Engage came from my experience as a speaker. After I played in my first game, I got absolutely flooded with speaking requests. My manager started looking for a way to do it all online, and we found that there was not a way to do the process digitally….I called several of my athlete friends and found that they experienced the same problem. That led to us founding Engage, a platform that completely digitizes the process of booking talent for an experience.”
Engage’s proprietary platform provides a seamless experience for consumers, event planners, and businesses to connect with, negotiate, and book unique events, speaking engagements, experiences, and more.
