New Talent Added to Kick Off 2021

As we kick off the new year, we are thrilled to have over 1700 amazing talent on the Engage platform. While 2020 posed many challenges, we are proud to have used these challenges as fuel to grow our platform and further expand our digital capabilities.
Below are some of the most exciting new talent on the platform:
A NBA legend-turned-coach, Penny Hardaway is the head basketball coach at the University of Memphis and a former NBA All-Star. Over Hardaway's renowned 14 year NBA career, he played for the Warriors, Suns, Knicks and Heat and was a 4x NBA All-Star and 2x All-NBA First Team member.
Hardaway retired from the NBA following the 2007 NBA season. and was hired by his alma mater the University of Memphis in 2018. He led the to Tigers to a NIT birth in his first season and secured the #1 recruiting class in the country after getting commitments from #1 high school player, James Wiseman.
Gilbert Arenas is a former NBA shooting guard who played primarily for the Washington Wizards. Gilbert played 2 seasons with Golden State Warriors before signing with the Washington Wizards. Arenas spent the bulk of his career with Washington and was voted to 3 All-Star Games during his time in the nation's capital. Arenas went on to play for the Orlando Magic and Memphis Grizzlies as well.
Since his retirement, Arenas has launched his own podcast network "No Chill Productions" and is the host of the "No Chill Podcast."
Matt Barnes is a former professional basketball player who played 14 seasons in the NBA. Barnes was drafted in the second round of the 2002 NBA draft by the Memphis Grizzlies, after playing 4 collegiate seasons at UCLA. Over his long career, Barnes hopped around the NBA playing for the Los Angeles Clippers, Sacramento Kings, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, Golden State Warriors, Phoenix Suns, Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, and Memphis Grizzlies. He won his first NBA Championship in his final season as a member of the 2017 Golden State Warriors.
J.D. Martinez is an American professional baseball outfielder and designated hitter for the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball. He has also played in MLB for the Houston Astros, Detroit Tigers, and Arizona Diamondbacks. He is a 3x all star and part of the Red Sox 2018 World Series Championship team.
Harold Varner III is a professional PGA Tour golfer. Setting himself apart, Varner is one of just a handful of African-American professional golfers and is one of the longest drivers on tour.
Varner earned his first professional golf victory by winning the Australian PGA Championship in December 2016, a tournament co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour of Australasia and the European Tour. He is only the second American to win the Australian PGA Championship and the first since Hale Irwin won it in 1978.
