FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Engage Founders Interview on Radio

Jake Olson, President & Co-Founder of Engage and blind long snapper for the USC Trojans, and Daniel Hennes, CEO of Engage, were recently interviewed by Ken Thomson on Sports X Radio which can be heard Monday - Friday, 7 - 9 PM PST on 101.5 FM and 720 AM KDWN. All radio broadcasts are also archived on Soundcloud.
Olson and Thomson started by giving the listeners, from 46 countries and on all radios up the California coast, a synopsis of Jake’s story and his initial interactions with Coach Pete Carroll and the Trojan Family.
Their conversation progressed from there, covering how the blind long snapper can tell what snap is good vs. bad and Jake touched on how “feel” and “muscle memory” are a massive part of his game. Thomson asked a bit about how the USC team is looking for the impending season and #61 believes, “We have a couple tough games in the beginning [of this season] but when we go down to Texas and beat the longhorns I think we will turn some heads.”
Hennes joined the conversation a little later and Olson called him his “right hand man” and believes “us two are going to go very far in life.”
The conversation then shifted to Olson and Hennes’ new endeavor, Engage, which Olson described as “an online platform focused on digitizing the process of booking an engagement or speech.” Ken responded, “I have no doubt it’ll be successful.”
