FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Engage Co-Founder Named to Special List

Jake Olson, President & Co-Founder of Engage and blind long snapper for the USC Trojans, was recently named to the watch list for the Wuerffel Trophy, which recognizes players around collegiate football for their outstanding community service.

Since completely losing his eyesight to retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer, in 2009, Jake has not let his lack of sight stop him from pursuing his dreams. He started at long snapper for his high school team and currently plays for USC’s storied program.

His perseverance culminated after Marvell Tell III’s interception return for a touchdown against Western Michigan: “[Jake] had a successful and well done snap to complete the PAT,” said Matthew Lowry of the conquest chronicles, “A beautiful moment for Jake that was highlighted throughout the 2017 college football season and sports as a whole.”

Jake hopes to convert the energy and effort exerted into becoming an NCAA football player into success off the field with Engage, a first-of-its-kind platform to disrupt the process of booking talent and events scheduled for launch in October of 2018.

Congratulations to Jake and Fight on!
