Chikeitha Owens is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Speaker, Christian author of "Living Life for What It Is" and "Living Life for What It Is Examination Guide." She is the owner of Abundance of Hope Counseling. She has years of clinical experience and has worked with many populations including ​Substance abuse, Foster care, Teens, Adults and Married couples.  

She is also a Board member for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation for Texas/Oklahoma Chapter. She is a Certified Bariatric Counselor through the American Association of Bariatrics Counselors. She focuses on Trauma and Obesity. She has had an opportunity to share her gift of speaking on purpose providing her audience with motivation, encouragement, and a wealth of information.

  • Are there any moments that stand out as having a significant impact on your career? A major impact was when COVID hit because it pushed me to offering Tele-Health full-time. It provides an opportunity to provide therapy not just to my local community but all across the state
