Hello, my name is Michelle, Steinke-Baumgard and I am the Founder of One Fit Widow. In 2009, my husband Mitchel died in a small plane crash, and I was widowed with a 1 and 2-year-old. What that tragedy taught me about life, grit and perseverance have changed my life. I left my corporate job to become a fitness trainer. Since that day in 2009, I've written the best-selling book, "Healthy Healing: A Guide to Working Out Grief," and I've been featured in Shape Magazine, Fitness Magazine, and I've written for Prevention and the Huffington Post. I've done thousands of podcasts and been on countless stages to tell my story and help people find health and mental wellness even during their most challenging life moments.

I've been the keynote speaker for The Navy Seal Foundation, Wings for Widows, and Third Option Foundation, Grief's Journey, to name a few. I've also spoken and led breakout groups at the TAPS annual conference in Washington DC (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors), New York, Life, MOPS, and the Motion Picture Television Fund in Los Angeles. I also run adventure workshops and events worldwide, from Bali to Peru and Italy; we travel to inspire people to live their most intentional life. My talks can cover a range of topics, including, but not limited to: Living well after Loss Healthy Healing - Tools for your healing toolbox Living your life on purpose Raising kids with Grit and Resilience How to deal with all forms of grief in the workplace The importance of life insurance and estate planning Breakout Groups Sessions can include: TRE (Tension Releasing Exercises) Meditation and breathing Wellness Nutrition I'd love to chat with you about your next event and how I might inspire your team. I look forward to hearing from you. Michelle
