If you are looking for a golfing icon to make an appearance and interact with the guests at your next event, look no further. Take a look at the Top 5 Golf Speakers, available to book right now on Engage:

5. Jim Furyk

Jim Furyk is a PGA Tour golfer with seventeen career wins. Furyk learned golf from his father, who was an assistant pro at a country club. His father was his only source of golfing instruction for some time, which many people credit for his unusual yet highly effective swing. In college, Furyk took his talents to his hometown school, the University of Arizona at Tucson, where he was a two-time All-American. Additionally, Furyk led the Wildcats to their first and still only NCAA title. Beyond the Tour, Furyk is a major philanthropist and enjoys doing all that he can to give back. He and his wife, Tabitha, have created the Jim and Tabitha Furyk Foundation that aims to help families and children in need. They have collaborated with Wolfson's Children Hospital, Blessings in a Backpack, Community Peds Care, and other associations that assist families in distress. Both for his on-course success and his charitable nature, Furyk will be a hit at your upcoming event.

4. Patrick Reed

Patrick Reed is a professional golfer both on the PGA Tour and the European Tour. He is a three-time winner on the European Tour and a nine-time winner on the PGA Tour. The crowning jewel of his PGA Tour career is a win at the Master Tournament in 2018. A San Antonio, Texas native, Reed took to golf at a young age and won the U.S. Junior Championship at just sixteen. He went on to golf at Augusta State University, where he won two Division I titles and would be named a two-time All-American. After turning professional at age twenty, it would be just three years until he won his first tournament. Reed and his wife Justine are the parents of a beautiful daughter named Windsor-Wells, and some of his passions include cooking and helping junior golfers to elevate their game. Reed is an absolute class act through and through, meaning you can't go wrong booking him for an appearance.

3. Bryson DeChambeau

Bryson DeChambeau is an eight-time PGA Tour winner and is known by golf fans all over the world as the master of precision under pressure. DeChambeau played his collegiate golf at Southern Methodist University, where he won the Division I NCAA Championship and the US Amateur tournament, all while graduating with a degree in physics. DeChambeau turned professional in 2016 and since then, he has affectionately been called "The Scientist" by his fellow professionals because of the inventive way he plays the game. Harkening back to his physics roots, DeChambeau uses analytics, data and science to craft his swing and approach to each shot in his game. Because of his unconventional methods, DeChambeau remains a fan favorite on the Tour and is sure to be a fan favorite at your next event.

2. David Feherty

David Feherty is a former professional golfer and current golf broadcaster. Hailing from Northern Ireland, Feherty began his playing career in Europe when he turned professional at just eighteen. Throughout his career, he won five European Tour events and ten worldwide titles. In 1996, Feherty began broadcasting with CBS, where he spent nineteen years before transitioning to NBC. Feherty also had his own, highly successful show on the Golf Channel called "Feherty," for which he earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Sports Personality. However, his talents do not stop there, as Feherty is also the author of six books, several of which have been New York Times bestsellers. His main hope, above all else, is that no one takes him seriously, which is a sign that everyone in attendance at your event will be nothing but entertained.

1. Lexi Thompson

Lexi Thompson is an LPGA golfer who was the youngest golfer ever to qualify to play in the U.S. Women's Open at the age of twelve. Shortly after this milestone, Thompson became the youngest ever winner of an LPGA tournament at the Navistar LPGA Classic when she was just 16 years old. Her first major championship win came at the 2014 Kraft Nabisco Championship at the age of nineteen, making her the second youngest LPGA golfer to win a major. At the age of twenty-seven, she continues to shine on the Tour, and has also expanded her pursuits to a skincare line which she is the founder of. She is an avid supporter of the LPGA and USGA Girls Golf program and aims to advocate for women in the sport. Thomspon has an infectious energy, making her the perfect golfer to book for an appearance at your next event.

Should I book a speaker for my event?

In today’s age, our attention span is dwindling. A technological era in which we can get rushes of dopamine to our brain in a couple seconds by scrolling on a variety of social media platforms has created an atmosphere where we quickly become uninterested by something if we are not immediately curious to hear more. In an event, this means being able to grab your audience’s attention immediately and pull them in, wanting to hear more. This is where hiring a speaker for an event comes into play. The speakers that are on Engage’s website are some of the most high-class, interesting stories you will ever hear. Engage has the stories and speakers that will hold your audience captive with interest.
