With the new opportunity that all collegiate athletes have to capitalize on their Name, Image and Likeness, there is a whole new world of potential individuals to book for a speaking engagement or for a partnership. Not only do collegiate athletes have tremendous influence over the fan bases that watch them take the field and court in their school colors, they also have tons of new stories to tell that will inspire your audiences. If you are looking for a speaker for your next event, or for a potential partnership, take a look at some of the new collegiate athletes available on Engage:

5. Chris Murray

Chris Murray is a senior offensive lineman for the University of Oklahoma. Murray spent his first two years as a college football player playing for the Bruins at the University of California Los Angeles. As a Bruin, Murray started every game of his career, despite moving from center to guard during his time there. In high school, Murray was a standout at the high school powerhouse Mater Dei and was rated as a four-star recruit. Because of his transfer, Murray had to sit half of his first season at Oklahoma while he waited to get the all clear from the NCAA, but after winning his eligibility appeal, Murray played in 5 games and helped the Sooners with power and size on the OL down the stretch. Murray credits his faith for getting him to the point he is at now and for keeping him there despite the craziness of college football. If you are looking to reach college football fans across the country, with the PAC-12 and BIG12 fan bases behind Murray, you have found the right guy.

4. Velus Jones Jr.

Velus Jones Jr. is a redshirt senior wide receiver and kick returner for the University of Tennessee Volunteers. Before the 2020 season, Jones Jr. made a move closer to home to join the team at Tennessee, where he made an impact immediately and led the SEC in kickoff return yards. Other than his success on the football field, Jones Jr. has built a following on Instagram, YouTube and Tik Tok, stealing the hearts of college football fans across fan bases with his funny videos and his adorable dog Tank. Anyone who knows Jones Jr. knows he is a tremendous personality and is always bringing the party wherever he is, so booking an engagement or partnership with Jones Jr. will most definitely not disappoint.

3. Carson Beck

Carson Beck is a redshirt freshman quarterback at the University of Georgia. Growing up in Jacksonville, Florida, Beck took to football right away and ended his high school career at Mandarin High School as a four-star recruit. In 2018, Mandarin won its first ever state title with Beck at QB. Beck’s performance that season led him to be named Florida’s Mr. Football, which is an award given to the best football player in the entire state. In 2019, Beck participated in the Elite 11 camp, which has grown over the years to be a well-respected fraternity of the nation’s top talent at quarterback. After enrolling early at UGA in January of 2020, Beck has worked his way up the depth chart and looks to once again be the Bulldog’s QB #2, posed to take the starting position when the current starter, JT Daniels, enters the NFL. In 2017, McGrath won USC’s Joe Collins Walk On award and was given a scholarship after he sent the Texas game into overtime and kicked the game-winning field goal to beat the Longhorns in the 2005 national championship rematch in the Coliseum. He currently holds the USC record for most field goals in a game at 5 with his performance against UNLV in 2018. Should I book a speaker for my event?

In today’s age, our attention span is dwindling. A technological era in which we can get rushes of dopamine to our brain in a couple seconds by scrolling on a variety of social media platforms has created an atmosphere where we quickly become uninterested by something if we are not immediately curious to hear more. In an event, this means being able to grab your audience’s attention immediately and pull them in, wanting to hear more. This is where hiring a speaker for an event comes into play. The speakers that are on Engage’s website are some of the most high-class, interesting stories you will ever hear. Engage has the stories and speakers that will hold your audience captive with interest.
