Christian Jones enters his 2nd season on the Vikings coaching staff in 2020, having primarily worked alongside former Wide Receivers Coach Drew Petzing in 2019. Prior to joining the Vikings, Jones had coached at the University of Texas and his alma mater Northwestern University. While working with Jones in 2019, WR Stefon Diggs recorded a career-high 1,130 receiving yards, marking his 2nd consecutive 1,000-yard receiving season. Diggs led the NFL with 8 receptions of 40+ yards and 15 deep ball receptions (20+ air yards), while his 17.9 yards per reception ranked 4th among receivers with at least 32 receptions. Jones also assisted in the development of 7th-round draft pick Bisi Johnson, whose 3 receiving TDs in 2019 marked the most by a Vikings rookie since Diggs recorded 4 receiving TDs in 2014.
