Clay Jennings is a veteran college football coach with over two decades of experience developing elite defensive backs across the country. A former standout at North Texas, Jennings has held key roles at programs including TCU, Arkansas, Texas, Houston, and Texas Tech, mentoring numerous NFL-bound players like Jason Verrett and Jordan Babineaux. His coaching tenure includes a pivotal role in TCU's dominant defenses from 2008 to 2010, during which the Horned Frogs led the nation in total defense for three consecutive seasons and capped off a perfect 13-0 season with a Rose Bowl victory in 2010. In 2023, Jennings returned to his alma mater, North Texas, as the safeties coach, bringing his extensive expertise and leadership back to the Mean Green program.
