Daniel Bard is a professional baseball player and pitcher for the Colorado Rockies in the MLB. Bard played college baseball at the University of North Carolina, and he was drafted in the first round of the 2006 MLB Draft by the Boston Red Sox. Bard has a 3.67 ERA and 279 total strikeouts during his MLB career, and in 2020 was named NL Comeback Player of the Year while with the Rockies.
