Dazhaun Walton is a sprinter on the Track & Field team at McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. As a freshman, Walton made First Team All-Conference and qualified for the NCAA Division III National Championships in the 200-meter dash and the 4x100 and 4x400 relays. At the NCAA National Prelim Qualifier, Walton came in 11th place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.68. He was ranked top-10 nationally in the event for significant portions of his freshman season. Walton prepped at Harlan High School in San Antonio, TX, and was born and raised in Honolulu, HI. He continues to push himself towards his goal of competing as a professional and is also working toward an undergraduate degree in psychology.
