DJ Uiagalelei is a college football quarterback for the Florida State Seminoles. He formerly played for the Clemson Tigers before transferring to Oregon State and then transferring again to Florida State. A five-star recruit out of St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California, Uiagalelei appeared in 10 games for the Tigers in his freshman season, including two starts in place of Trevor Lawrence. Uiagalelei threw for 914 yards and five touchdowns while rushing for 60 yards and four touchdowns in his freshman year.
In his sophomore campaign, he completed 208-of-374 passes for 2,246 yards with nine touchdowns over 862 snaps in 13 games (all starts), finishing the season as one of only four offensive or defensive players to start every game for Clemson. He also rushed 105 times for 308 yards with four touchdowns. His 862 snaps were the most in a season by a Clemson quarterback since 2017. He also was All-ACC Academic Team selection.
