Eric Koehler is a seasoned American college football coach and former wide receiver at Hanover College, with nearly 30 years of experience across various collegiate programs. After beginning his coaching journey at Hanover and subsequently serving at WPI, Wisconsin–Platteville, Rose–Hulman, Wartburg (where he was head coach from 2006–2007), Grand Valley State, Illinois State, and Miami (OH)—where he spent nine seasons as co‑offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach—he joined the University of Minnesota in February 2023 as a senior offensive analyst and was promoted to tight ends coach in 2024. He's credited with developing balanced, high-power offenses and earned conference titles and playoff appearances along the way. He holds degrees from Hanover and Wisconsin–Platteville and resides in Minnesota with his wife, Heidi.
