  • What is your favorite quote? "Don't stop until you're proud."
  • Are there any moments that stand out as having a significant impact on your career? Being the first female Little League All-Star player in our town helped me gain confidence as a life-long athlete to find ways to push personal performance and open doors for others.
  • Outside of your profession do you have any hobbies/interests? I like to challenge my brain and body by doing Brazilian jiu-jitsu, rock climbing, acro yoga, and anything balance related. I'm always looking for new activities.
  • Who do you look up to as a mentor and why? Growing up with undiagnosed dyslexia, I look up to my science teacher/volleyball /basketball coach because he made learning kinesthetic & helped me feel smart. I hope to have the same impact.
  • Is there anything else we should know about you? While playing volleyball at Penn State our team earned 3 Big Ten Volleyball Championships: 1993, '96, '97, and was NCAA runner-up. I earned All-Academic Big Ten Volleyball Awards 1994-'97.
