John Butler

John Butler is the defensive backs coach for the Buffalo Bills. Before making his NFL debut as the Houston Texans defensive backs coach, Butler worked at his alma mater Catholic University where he played both football and basketball. After his time at Catholic, he moved on to University of Texas as a graduate assistant. His other college coaching experience includes being the special teams coach for Harvard, Minnesota, and South Carolina, as well as being the defensive coordinator for Penn State. He is a leader on the field known for his competitive spirit, likeability, and drive to be the best. Through his coaching ability, Butler has helped the Bills build a strong top-10 secondary in the NFL.
