One of the fastest players in the country, Marusak (pronounced MAR-shock) landed on Texas Tech’s campus fresh off a four-year letter-winning high school career at Amarillo High (TX) where he finished his career ranked the #1 outfielder in the state. As a freshman at Tech, Max ranked second on the team with four triples and swiped 10 bags in just 12 attempts. Marusak logged another sold season at Tech before transferring to Louisiana-Lafayette.
