Miriam Sandeen is currently on the University of Iowa Cross Country and Track team and is majoring in Health and Human Physiology. In her first CC season Miriam competed in five of six races. She posted season bests in 4,000 meters at Hawkeye Invite (14:38.8), 5,000 meters at Dirksen-Greeno Invite (17:54.2), and 6,000 meters at Bradley Pink Classic (21:51.2). Outside of running, she enjoys reading, drawing, pets, and hanging out with friends/family. She loves working with other people and is very passionate about mental health and female empowerment!
