Rosie Rivera

I strive to become the voice that my eight-year-old self needed. During the sexual abuse, I’d watch TV yearning for someone to speak about the issues that dominated my mind every minute of the day. At 25, I became that woman as I started to speak openly about sexual assault, rape and domestic violence in churches, women’s prisons, high schools, business panels, Beauty-Con and any place there is a person in need. Despite being the youngest, I was the only one that didn’t pursue fame, but it found me when tragedy struck my life once again and after losing my beloved sister Jenni Rivera in plane accident As an entrepreneur and the testamentary executor of Jenni Rivera Enterprises, international speaker, author and a influential public figure with an active following of 1.9 million on my social media combined I use my platform to lift up, motivate and give hope to sexual abuse victims as a survivor and counselor. I have co-hosted the top Spanish morning shows such as Despierta America and Un Nuevo Dia, and co-cost along with my husband a marriage podcast called “The Power of Us” on Revolver. I have participated and starred in reality shows such as I Love Jenni, The Rivera’s, Mira Quien Baila and Rica Famosa Latina currently on Netflix. My life is nothing like I imagined or planned, but it is an answered prayer for the lonely and hurting eight year old girl fighting for her life. Every single step I take is intentionally taken toward my goal of uplifting sexual assault victims and guiding them toward internal healing. Being a voice for the voiceless isn’t only my passion, it’s is my purpose. “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Mathew 5:1
