Sanders stands out in the crowd with some of the most dominant stuff in the country that comes at hitters from a 6-foot-7, 220-pound frame. As a freshman, Sanders made 22 appearances, including 10 starts and posted a 6-3 record with a 3.54 ERA and an impressive 54 strikeouts in 53.1 innings. He was named to the SEC All-Freshman team and Perfect Game All-American first team. With a great freshman year under his belt, Sanders entered his 2022 sophomore campaign as one of the most highly regarded college pitchers in the country and has surged out of the gates with an advanced four-pitch mix that includes mid-90s heat and two nasty breaking balls. Sanders is considered one of the top hurlers in his draft class and has a bright future at the front of an MLB rotation.
