On February 29, Engage hosted Success Insurance, an event hosted at ‘Eric the Trainer’ Fleishmann’s Los Angeles gym. At this interactive event, Eric moderated a conversation with a variety of talent including White House Chef Andre Rush, actor Drake Bell, Nickelback member Michael Kroeger, and ex-Big Time Rush members Logan Henderson and Kendall Schmidt. The event featured everyone from actors to businessmen and musicians. The event was geared mainly towards young entrepreneurs, and each talent was first given 4 minutes and 30 seconds to explain what success meant to them, followed by break-out panels and a networking session. As the audience was able to interact with the talent and hear their stories of personal triumph, Success Insurance provided a unique opportunity.

Unlike typical keynote speeches and motivational conferences, each talent was given the opportunity to interact with each other and with the audience as they told their stories of overcoming obstacles and finding their self worth on the way to success. While all of the talent had vastly different career paths and goals, each was able to tell a powerful and cohesive message that the road to success isn’t always easy, but it is worthwhile in the end. From illnesses to drug abuse to self-worth issues, each talent overcame a distinct set of obstacles that made them who they are today.

While most speaker’s bureaus and talent booking platforms create a unilateral transaction between the client and the talent, Engage empowers customers to curate unique, customized experiences that motivate audiences in an authentic way. From the unique format, camaraderie amongst the talent, or the one on one interactions for the audience, Success Insurance is something that you couldn’t find when trying to book through a speakers bureau. As the audience at “Success Insurance” was able to interact with talent in a meaningful way, they were able to walk away with insider tips and knowledge on what it takes to truly succeed.

Below are some of the key takeaways from Success Insurance:

Eric "The Trainer" Fleishman

Eric hosted Success Insurance at his exclusive gym outside of Los Angeles. As one of the most legendary and in-demand personal trainers in the country, Eric brought in some of his high-profile clients to share their stories of success and personal transformation. As he moderated the event, Eric emphasized that the biggest catalyst for success is hard work and determination. As Eric worked tirelessly to become the best trainer he could be, he has forged strong lasting relationships with his clients.

White House Chef Andre Rush

Prior to his career as Head Chef at the White House, Chef Rush served 23 years in the U.S. Army. In addition to his successful career as a chef, Rush also is a major advocate for mental health and suicide prevention, and he does 2,222 push-ups every day to spread awareness. At Success Insurance, Chef Rush talked about how for him success means helping others to succeed and realize their self worth.

Nutritionist and Entrepreneur Serena Poon

After both of her parents were diagnosed with cancer when she was a teenager, Serena Poon decided she wanted to dedicate her career to helping people become healthier and happier. As a nutritionist and coach for some of the biggest names in Hollywood, Serena talked about the importance of focusing on the importance of whole body, mind and soul wellness. As people often forget about their well-being on the path to success, Serena emphasized the importance of maintaining wellness and mindfulness.

Actor Vincent Rodriguez III

As one of the first Filipino actors to make it on a major TV show, Vincent Rodriguez made his television debut in his lead role as Josh Chan on The CW’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. After 10 years of trying to make it on Broadway, Vincent Rodriguez knows what it means to overcome obstacles and fight to find success. In a powerful and emotional moment, Vincent shared that he had a hard time finding his purpose and feeling like he was enough after a childhood of feeling like he didn’t fit in. As society often portrays success as looking a certain way, Vincent’s words inspired the audience to overcome people’s expectations and their own self-doubt.
