5. DK Metcalf

DK Metcalf is a wide receiver in the NFL for the Seattle Seahawks. Metcalf was drafted in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft after a successful career at the University of Mississippi. At Ole Miss, Metcalf began to turn heads due to his viral playing highlights and his physical capabilities, and Metcalf’s impressive combine performance continued to impress both fans and NFL players alike. Metcalf’s first seasons in the NFL have been quite successful, including setting the record for most receiving yards by a rookie in a playoff game. Metcalf has an exciting personality and will definitely be an integral part of your next event.

4. Ryan Fitzpatrick

Ryan Fitzpatrick is a quarterback in the NFL for the Washington Football Team. Out of his collegiate career at Harvard University, Fitzpatick was drafted in the 7th round of the 2005 NFL Draft. Fitzpatrick has suited up for the Rams, Cincinnati Bengals, Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans, New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Miami Dolphins. He has fondly been called “Fitzmagic '' for years now, and even though he has not had longevity at many teams, his numerous NFL records are a testament to the important role he has played on many teams. Fitzpatrick is the ultimate testament to following your path and your dreams, wherever they take you, and will be a great person to interact with your audience, whoever is in attendance.

3. Josh Allen

Josh Allen is an NFL quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. Allen has a fantastic comeback kid story that starts back in high school, where he only had one offer to play collegiate football after his senior season. Deciding not to give up on his football dreams, Allen attended Reedley College, a junior college, which allowed him to be recruited to Wyoming. Once at Wyoming, Allen led his team to a Mountain West Conference division and two bowl games. The NFL saw his potential, and Allen was drafted 7th overall in the 2018 NFL Draft. Once again, Allen waited for his turn, and started his career as the backup quarterback for the Bills. Allen was thrown in with the hopes of the Bills on his back, and the team has never looked back. In his second season as a starter, Allen led the Bills to their first 10-win season and only their second playoff appearance since 1999. Allen is an easy-going guy with plenty of inspirational stories to share with the attendees at your next event.

2.  Todd Gurley

Outside of football, Gurley is a philanthropist and an active member of his community. His foundation, the MADE (Make a Difference Everyday) Foundation, aims to provide support to youth by focusing on their physical, social and educational well-being. During his three seasons as a Nittany Lion, Barkley rocked the college football world, where he was the back-to-back Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year, and named First-Team All-Big Ten for his final two seasons. During his final season of collegiate football, Barkley finished fourth in the Heisman voting and was also a finalist for the Doak and Maxwell awards, given to the nation’s best running back and best overall player respectively. Barkley was selected 2nd overall in the 2018 NFL Draft and has since earned Rookie of the Year and Pro Bowl recognition. Barkley is far too humble for the success he has had thus far in his career, and his loveable personality is sure to be a hit with your audience.

Should I book a speaker for my event?

In today’s age, our attention span is dwindling. A technological era in which we can get rushes of dopamine to our brain in a couple seconds by scrolling on a variety of social media platforms has created an atmosphere where we quickly become uninterested by something if we are not immediately curious to hear more. In an event, this means being able to grab your audience’s attention immediately and pull them in, wanting to hear more. This is where hiring a speaker for an event comes into play. The speakers that are on Engage’s website are some of the most high-class, interesting stories you will ever hear. Engage has the stories and speakers that will hold your audience captive with interest.
