The world we live in is a world filled with constant change, which also makes it a world filled with endless possibilities. In order to reach any goal, a little inspiration is needed along the way, and what better way to get that inspiration refueled than with a Motivational Speaker. Your next event is sure to be a success with a Motivational Speaker as a part of your program, and your guests will remember the event for how they felt ready to take on the world when they left. On Engage, there is a wide variety of Motivational Speakers to cater to any age group and topic area. Here is our list of the Top 5 Motivational Speakers on Engage:

5. Caroline Johnson

Caroline Johnson is a former US Navy fighter jet pilot, and falls into the 1.7% of women in the Navy to hold that position. As a tall blonde debutante, Johnson was not your typical candidate for a fighter jet pilot in the male-dominated field of aviation, but she drew strength from her differences and pursued her dreams. After graduating from the US Naval Academy, she was awarded her wings of gold and finished as the Top Graduate of her flight school class. Johnson was a member of Operations Enduring Freedom and Inherent Resolve, and fought in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria, as the first woman to play an important role in the fight against ISIS. Since retiring from active duty, Johnson has taught at the US Naval Academy and authored the novel Jet Girl, where she tells the story of her experiences in the Navy’s most lethal aircraft, the F/A-18 Super Hornet. Johnson’s story of pushing herself to the absolute limits, putting herself in harm's way on a daily basis, and her love of our country will cater to all audiences and leave all who hear it inspired to be the best version of themselves.

4. Dr. Jen Welter

Dr. Jen Welter is known for her trailblazing role as the first female to coach in the NFL. In addition to her coaching career, Dr. Welter was the first woman to play running back in a men’s professional football league. Dr. Welter is also a published author with her book, “Play Big: Lessons in Being Limitless from the First Woman to Coach in the NFL.” Dr. Welter continues to mentor through numerous camps for girls and women, aiming to bring them into the world of football, especially focusing on those youth in under-served areas. If you are looking to inspire your audiences to reach for their dreams, even when there is no blueprint to follow, Dr. Welter is the perfect speaker for you.

2. Tony Romo

Tony Romo is the Lead NFL Game Analyst at CBS Sports, as well as a former college football and NFL phenomenon. Romo played fourteen seasons at quarterback with the Dallas Cowboys, cementing himself in their franchise history, but his journey to his current legacy was not an easy one. Despite having an excellent collegiate career, Romo went undrafted and had to work his way up to starter from the third-string position. When given his shot, Romo took the Cowboys to the playoffs for the first time in three years, and the rest was history. Romo still holds numerous NFL records and is the current gold standard of a retired football player turned broadcaster. 1. Chris Moon

Chris Moon is a motivational speaker and a former British Army Officer.  After serving in the British Army for three years, Moon went to work for a charity called Halo Trust that works to clear landmines from former areas of combat. Moon’s challenges did not stop there, as he was blown up in a minefield in 1995. Without his own initial treatment of his wounds, doctors told Moon that he would not have survived. Less than a year within this catastrophic injury, Moon ran the London Marathon, and has continued to be a trailblazer as an amputee ultra-distance runner. Moon has run the Badwater Death Valley 135 mile ultra, one of the world’s toughest ultra-marathons, and has a passion for inspiring others to do what they do better. Moon brings to audiences around the world his story of not only surviving things many people could not imagine, but thriving after the pain, and is sure to leave a lasting impression on your audience.

Should I book a speaker for my event?

In today’s age, our attention span is dwindling. A technological era in which we can get rushes of dopamine to our brain in a couple seconds by scrolling on a variety of social media platforms has created an atmosphere where we quickly become uninterested by something if we are not immediately curious to hear more. In an event, this means being able to grab your audience’s attention immediately and pull them in, wanting to hear more. This is where hiring a speaker for an event comes into play. The speakers that are on Engage’s website are some of the most high-class, interesting stories you will ever hear. Engage has the stories and speakers that will hold your audience captive with interest.
