AJ Rose is an NFL running back for the Minnesota Vikings. Rose signed with the Vikings after going undrafted in the 2021 NFL draft out of the University of Kentucky. Rose spent four years at Kentucky and tallied over 1,900 yards which placed him 10th on the all-time Kentucky rushing yards list. He is also 3rd all-time in yards per rushing attempt in Kentucky history with 5.8 YPA. Rose grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and attended Garfield Heights High School where he also played basketball and track and field along with football. He committed to Kentucky over Iowa, Minnesota, and Indiana.
