Book Alanna Smith

Alanna Smith is an Australian basketball player for the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx. She formerly played for the Phoenix Mercury. A four-year player at Stanford University, Smith was selected with the eighth overall pick in the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Mercury. While Smith has a relatively young WNBA career so far, she has extensive playing experience with Australia Basketball. Smith competed in the 2011 FIBA Oceania Under-16 Championship, before competing in the Under-18 Oceania Championship in 2014, and the Under-17 and 19 World Championships at the junior level. Smith earned a call-up to the Australia senior team in 2017 for the FIBA Women's Asia Cup, helping lead the Opals to a World Cup qualification. Smith was also a member of the Australian team that competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
