Alejandro Rosario

Rosario was put right to work when he donned the Hurricane uniform, becoming the first true freshman to start a game on opening weekend since 2011. After capping his Miami Christian high school career off by being named a 2019 Under Armour and Perfect Game All-American, he posted an impressive freshman season at Miami where he tied for the team lead in wins with six. He was second on the team in innings (65.2), games started (11) and third on the squad with 55 punchouts. The Miami Christian product has one of the biggest arms on the circuit, with a running fastball that touches 99 MPH to go along with a sharp slider and sinking change.
