Alex McFarlane

McFarlane was drafted out of high school by the St. Louis Cardinals but chose to bring his talents to Miami where he is a big part of the Hurricane’s weekend rotation. His fastball rests in the mid 90s, touching a blistering 98 mph. He uses a three-pitch mix that also includes a slider with great tilt and a changeup. A native of St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, McFarlane is striking out better than a hitter per inning and looking to hone his impressive stuff as he will have another crack at the draft this July.
