Ashley Ingram is the head football coach at Carson-Newman University, a position he has held since December 2023. Prior to joining Carson-Newman, Ingram spent 16 seasons at the United States Naval Academy, where he served in various roles, including offensive line coach, offensive coordinator, and assistant head coach. During his tenure at Navy, the team achieved a 113–90 record, secured six Commander-In-Chief’s Trophies, and earned six bowl victories. Ingram is known for his expertise in option football and his commitment to developing strong Christian leaders. Under his leadership, Carson-Newman achieved a 9–3 record in his first season, earning a berth in the NCAA Division II playoffs. A graduate of the University of North Alabama, Ingram is the son of Coach Alan and Sue Ingram.
