Austin "Thud" Hubbard is a professional MMA fighter currently competing in the UFC's lightweight division. Austin didn't always have his sights set on being an MMA athlete; he wrestled and played football in high school, only taking up MMA training as a way to stay fit during college. The Sterling, Illinois native quickly realized that he had what it took to turn pro and did just that in 2015. He then won the Legacy Fighting Alliance lightweight championship and overall amassed a 10-2 record before signing with the UFC in 2019. Fighting for Team Elevation out of Denver, Colorado, Austin has held his own and won multiple UFC bouts and figures to remain a strong contender for a long time to come.
