Ben Verlander is a former professional baseball player. The brother of pitcher Justin Verlander, Ben played college baseball at Old Dominion University. In 2013, he was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 14th round. He played for the Lakeland Flying Tigers, a team in the Detroit Tigers farm system, for four years. 

 

Verlander now serves as an MLB Analyst for FOX Sports and is the co-host of his podcast “Flippin Bats”.
