Blake Parker (full name Richard Blake Parker), born June 19, 1985, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, is a retired MLB relief pitcher who played from 2012 to 2021 across seven teams. Drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 2006 from the University of Arkansas, he debuted in 2012 and became a dependable bullpen asset, finishing his career with a 16–11 record, a 3.47 ERA, 383 strikeouts, and a 1.20 WHIP over 345 innings and 350 games. Known for strong control and durability, Parker notched 34 saves and posted excellent season highlights, including a streak of scoreless appearances and double-digit strikeouts in relief. He played key seasons with the Angels—recording 22 saves between 2017–2018—then with the Twins in 2019, and wrapped up in Philadelphia and Cleveland. Following a final minor league stint with the Cardinals’ Triple-A affiliate in 2022, Parker retired and now runs Blake Parker Athletics, a baseball training facility in Fayetteville. He resides there with his wife Jordan and their three children.
