Brian Hoyer is an NFL quarterback who currently plays for the New England Patriots. After playing his college football at Michigan State University, Hoyer was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Patriots in 2009.
A journeyman quarterback, Hoyer has also played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers and Indianapolis Colts. He won Super Bowl LIII during his second stint with the Patriots as the backup to Tom Brady. In March of 2020, Hoyer signed a 1 year deal bringing him back to New England for the upcoming NFL season.
