Bryce Love is a professional football player on the Washington Redskins. Bryce Love is a former standout running back from Stanford. Throughout the 2018 season he earned 739 rushing yards and 6 rushing touchdowns. Love finished his breakout 2017 season with 2,118 rushing yards and was second in the nation in rushing yards and in rushing yards per game. Love reached the 1,000-yard rushing mark in just the fifth game of the season that year and had back-to-back games with over 250 rushing yards, making him only the second Pac-12 player to do so. Love ran for a school-record 301 yards in a game and at least 100 yards in twelve of his thirteen games, leading all running backs in the nation during the 2017 season. Love’s 2017 season performance earned him the Doak Walker Award as the nation’s best running back and the Lombardi Award. He was a unanimous first team All American and Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year. Love also was named to the All-Pac-12 First Team and was a Heisman Trophy finalist. During Love’s sophomore campaign for the Stanford Cardinal in 2016, he set a record as third in school history with 7.05 yards per carry and ninth in Pac-12 in rushing yards per game (65.2). Coming out of high school a decorated two sport athlete, Love was regarded as a four-star recruit by ESPN and was ranked as the No. 18 running back prospect of the class of 2015.
