Carlos Pena is a former MLB First Baseman from the Dominican Republic. Over the course of his standout career, Pena played for the Texas Rangers, Oakland Athletics, Detroit Tigers, Boston Red Sox, Tampa Bay Rays, Chicago Cubs, Houston Astros, and Kansas City Royals. In his career, Pena won the Golden Glove and Silver Slugger awards. He was also selected to the MLB All-Star Team. After retiring from baseball in 2014, Pena turned to broadcasting, working as an MLB Analyst for the MLB Network and for New England Sports Network as a color commentator for Red Sox games.
