Wells played three varsity seasons at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, NV, where he earned All-State and All-Desert Region honors and was the 2020 Gatorade Player of the Year. As a freshman on the 2021 Trojans squad, Wells represented himself well by posting the third best average on the team (.276). Carson’s older brother, Austin, is a catcher selected by the Yankees in the first round in 2020. Wells hopes to keep it going this year for a USC team that has come out of the gates hot and has eyes on postseason play.
