Charlie Williams is an accomplished football coach and administrator with extensive experience at both collegiate and professional levels. A Long Beach, California native, he began coaching in 1984 at Long Beach City College before progressing through roles at New Mexico State, TCU, Minnesota, and Miami. He spent six seasons (1996–2001) as the wide receivers coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers under Tony Dungy, mentoring standouts like Keyshawn Johnson. Williams also coached NFL running backs with the Indianapolis Colts (2012–15) and served as receivers coach at Arizona (2004–06), North Carolina (2007–11), South Florida (2017–20), and Texas (2016), shaping prolific passing offenses and future NFL players. He currently oversees football operations and serves as the NFL liaison at Arkansas. He earned his bachelor’s from Colorado State, played quarterback and defensive back, and lives with his wife Lisa and their three children.
