Chauncey Gardner-Johnson is a safety for the New Orleans Saints football franchise in the NFL. Beginning his career at the University of Florida, Gardner played in all 13 games his freshman year and started his final three. He accounted for two tackles and two interceptions in the 2017 Outback Bowl and was named the games MVP.

His sophomore year was even more successful, as Gardner started every game. In 2018, Gardner announced his declaration to the 2019 NFL Draft, where he would be drafted in the fourth round by the New Orleans Saints. Some of his highlights include intercepting a Matt Ryan pass on Thanksgiving Day in Week 13 of his rookie season, and accounting for 8 tackles and a forced fumble in Week 16 against the Titans. He still currently plays for the Saints.
