Christopher Martin is an MLB pitcher for the Boston Red Sox. He formerly played for the Atlanta Braves, Colorado Rockies, New York Yankees, and Texas Rangers, and in Nippon Professional Baseball for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. Before entering the MLB Chris suffered a right shoulder injury that he believed would end his dream of being a professional baseball pitcher, but after working in a warehouse for three years and rehabilitating his arm, Chris felt more comfortable with his pitching ability. After trying out, he played for independent league baseball before being picked up by the Boston Red Sox minor league program. He was still successful in the minors so he was then traded to the Colorado Rockies team where he made his MLB debut in 2014.
