Christian Petroni is a TV Personality, Host, and restauranteur. Most recently, he was the Executive Chef and Owner of Fortina Restaurants. Fortina opened in Armonk NY in 2013 to wild success, and led to openings in Brooklyn, Yonkers, Rye Brook, NY, and Stamford.
Born and raised in an Italian household in the Bronx, he graduated from the New York Restaurant School for Culinary Arts and spent his summers in Italy perfecting his culinary skills. Petroni soon supervised the kitchen at Peniche, a tapas restaurant in NY, before becoming the Executive Chef and Partner of Barcelona Wine Bar & Restaurant in Connecticut.
In 2010, he was a Food Network Chopped Champion and is the youngest Chef in the Hudson Valley to have received a rating of "Excellent" from the New York Times. Petroni has also been a guest and cooked at the James Beard House and a recurring talent at both NYC and Greenwich Wine and Food Festivals.
Christian can regularly be seen featured on the Food Network.
