Danilo Gallinari

Danilo Gallinari is an Italian professional basketball player for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association. After spending his first four years as a professional in his native Italy, Gallinari was drafted sixth overall in the 2008 NBA draft by the New York Knicks. He played with the Knicks for two and a half seasons before being traded to the Denver Nuggets in 2011as part of the deal that sent Carmelo Anthony to New York. In 2017, he was acquired by the Clippers and traded to the Thunder in 2019 as part of the deal that sent Paul George to LA. He started playing professional basketball in 2004 for a team in the third level of Italian Basketball, and eventually worked his way all the way to the NBA.
