Devon Kennard

Devon Kennard is a professional athlete, businessman and philanthropist. He currently plays linebacker for the Arizona Cardinals in the National Football League. Devon graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Communication management. He was then selected by the New York Giants in the 2014 NFL Draft. Devon was the Detroit Lions' nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in 2019 for his contributions on and off the field. Nomination for that award is consistent with the reputation Devon has developed for years. Devon enjoys public speaking and volunteering his time and resources to promote education. Although he has experience doing public speaking in various settings, Devon specializes in speaking and connecting with youth. He spends a lot of time in local communities volunteering and encouraging kids to build skills that will push them towards their dreams. Devon believes it is unique hearing a professional athlete talk about education, reading, and building skills sets not related to sport, and that motivates him to use his platform. Devon also spends his time outside of football growing his real estate business by investing in properties across the United States.
