Donald Eugene "D. J." Shockley is a former American football quarterback who is currently the Sports Director at Fox5Atlanta. He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the seventh round of the 2006 NFL Draft, where he served as a backup quarterback for four and a half years. He played college football at the University of Georgia. DJ Shockley joined the SEC Network in 2017 and worked as a studio and game analyst until 2021. Before ESPN, Shockley served as an analyst for Raycom, Big Ten Network, WSB-TV (Atlanta), and the Atlanta Falcons.
