Donald Eugene "D. J." Shockley is a former American football quarterback. He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the seventh round of the 2006 NFL Draft where he served as a backup quarterback for four and a half years. He played college football at the University of Georgia. DJ Shockley joined SEC Network in 2017 and is currently a studio and game analyst, joining Dave Neal and Dawn Davenport on SEC Network afternoon games throughout the fall. Prior to ESPN, Shockley served as an analyst for Raycom, Big Ten Network, WSB-TV (Atlanta), and the Atlanta Falcons.
