D.K. Metcalf is a wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks. He was selected by the Seahawks in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Metcalf was born and raised in Oxford, Mississippi, where he played football both at Oxford High School and at the University of Mississippi, also known as Ole Miss. He went on to play three seasons at Ole Miss before declaring for the NFL Draft. Metcalf was one of the most intriguing draft prospects due to his incredible physical abilities and his viral playing highlights. After being drafted in the second round by the Seattle Seahawks, Metcalf instantly became an integral member of their high powered offense. In the wild card round of the playoffs, Metcalf registered seven catches for 160 yards and a touchdown. This set the NFL record for most receiving yards by a rookie in a playoff game. D.K. continues his families lineage in the NFL following in the footsteps of his father, grandfather and uncle all who had successful NFL careers.
