Edgar Garcia

Edgar Garcia is a professional baseball player and relief pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball. A native of the Dominican Republic, Garcia was signed by the Philadelphia Phillies in 2014. A shortstop at the time, the Phillies saw his potential as a pitcher and had him switch positions. Sure enough, it eventually paid off when he made his big league debut in 2019. Garcia was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays in 2020, and signed a one year deal with the Reds for the 2021 season. He has a career ERA of 6.17 and a 2-0 win-loss record.
