Eric Allen is a retired defensive back for the Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints, and Oakland Raiders. During his career, Allen made the NFL Pro Bowl six times and accumulated 54 interceptions and eight touchdowns. His 54 interceptions rank him 21st in NFL history among all players. One interception in particular, named the "Greatest Interception Return in NFL History" by Steve Sabol of NFL Films, occurred in 1993 against the New York Jets. Allen was also an excellent college football player, as he helped the Arizona State Sun Devils win the 1987 Rose Bowl. Following his retirement from football, Allen has worked as a football studio analyst. He worked for ESPN as an NFL analyst and most recently worked as the football pregame and postgame shows for the Pac 12 Network.
