James Norwood is a pitcher for the San Diego Padres of the MLB. Norwood was drafted in the seventh round of the 2014 MLB draft by the Chicago Cubs after excelling at St. Louis University. At St. Louis, Norwood had a fantastic Junior season in which he posted a 2.68 ERA and was named to the Atlantic-10 First Team. Prior to his time on the Billikens, Norwood grew up in New York City and attended All Hallows High School where he was named All-Bronx Player of the Year his senior year. James is looking to help the Padres win their first World Series in franchise history in 2021.
