John Konchar

John Konchar is an NBA basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies. After playing his college basketball at Purdue Fort Wayne, Konchar signed a two-way contract with the Grizzlies in 2019. He made his NBA debut in November of 2019 against the Mavericks and is on the list of NCAA D-1 players to record 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. During his college career, Konchar compiled 2,065 career points and left as the program's all-time leading scorer. At the end of the season, the mayor of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Tom Henry, proclaimed March 28 as "John Konchar Day." Konchar is known for his commitment to being a great teammate and leader and for his fun-loving personality.
